It is evident that we have not yet fully evolved as a society when the unconscionable practices and cruelty of the fur trade, and the inhumane suffering of all afflicted animals, is still a reality in the 21st century. The killing of defenseless animals is an atrocity and reprehensible violation of the innocent, and should no longer be tolerated in a civilized and evolved society. The impetus that drives the fur trade is the fashion industry, and film is the most powerful medium in which to convey the message. The revealing truth will be seamlessly interwoven within the fabric of a moving, powerful film, which will engage society with the compelling truth, awaken consciousness, and bring to light, the consequential effect of the energy of violence in our society. What is the state of our world’s conscience when we can tolerate the needless and horrific act of a sentient being skinned alive for its fur and empower the industry that profits from such atrocity?
